As an elite F-22 fighter pilot, and later as a national security advisor to President Donald J. Trump, Col. August Pfluger has dedicated his life to defending our country. In Congress, Pfluger serves on the House Foreign Affairs & Committee on Homeland Security.

Securing the Border

Pfluger has fought the Biden Administration’s effort to tear down President Trump’s border wall. He has visited the border on numerous occasions and fought to shut down Biden’s unlawful migrant facility.

Protecting Agriculture & Our Rural Values

A seventh-generation Texan, Pfluger is Co-Leader of the Texas Ag Force in Congress and worked to block the Biden Administration’s Death Tax on rural America.

Promoting Energy Independence

Pfluger was the first freshman member to file pro energy legislation in the 117th Congress. He has fought Green New Deal policies and supported dozens of initiatives to protect the oil and natural gas industry.

Defending the Constitution

Pfluger has supported dozens of pro life and pro 2nd Amendment bills in Congress. He will always defend the Constitution and stand up for our shared conservative values.

As the Representative serving the country's largest oil and gas-producing region, Pfluger is the top Republican defending American energy independence, passing the first major energy permitting reform in 40+ years.
    Rep. Pfluger proudly serves as Co-Leader of the Texas Agriculture Task Force. He authored and co-signed several pieces of legislation to defend our farmers and ranchers from burdensome regulations from the Biden Administration.
    Congressman Pfluger proudly serves on the House Homeland Security Committee. He is a top GOP leader working to secure the border, authoring and co-sponsoring several dozens of pieces of legislation to end Biden’s Border Crisis. Rep. Pfluger fought to seal off dangerous cross-border cartel tunnels, expose known and suspected terrorists crossing the border, close migrant camps in his district, and shut down the Homeland Security “Disinformation Board.”
    Congressman Pfluger has filed several key pieces of legislation including:
    • No Funding for Sanctuary Cities Act: End all federal funding to sanctuary cities.
    • Unlocking our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2024: Stop Biden’s ban on Liquified Natural Gas exports, supporting the American energy industry.
    • LIZARD Act: Protects the energy industry from Biden’s attack on American energy.
    • To prohibit individuals who are not citizens of the United States from voting in elections in the District of Columbia: Bars illegal aliens from voting in our local elections.
    • Natural Gas Tax Repeal Act: Prevent Biden from enforcing a burdensome natural gas tax.
    • Preventing Malign CCP Influence on Academic Institutions Act: Increase transparency from American universities to prevent the infiltration of CCP propaganda.
    • Prohibiting Federal Emergencies for Abortion Act: Defend millions of unborn children under any circumstances.
